Gold nanoparticles ‘can be conjugated using lasers’

Conjugation of gold nanoparticles with biomolecules can be achieved in a one-step process using laser ablation, researchers have found.
Scientists at the universities of Hanover and Rostock in Germany, working with the Laser Zentrum Hannover, examined the potential for gold nanoparticles to be conjugated with biomolecules in a simpler way than previously known.br /em style=font-size:11px;The news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited copy; and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council./em
