Gold artefacts from Tang shipwreck to go on display

A number of gold artefacts will be among the objects set to go on display in Singapore as part of an exhibition of cargo from a ninth century Asian shipwreck.
Items from the ship discovered off the coast of Indonesia in 1998 will be showcased in Singapore in late 2010 or early 2011 before travelling to the US, where they will be exhibited at the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC in 2012.br /em style=font-size:11px;The news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited copy; and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council./em
